Location

City Hotel Groningen is located in the heart of the historic city centre, with a direct connection to the A7 & A28. From the central station, you can walk to the hotel in 10 minutes. 

Parking

Due to maintenance the Gedempte Kattendiep is temporarily not accessible by car. You can however park your car only 250 meters from our hotel, in our own parking garage. A parking place for this can be booked in advance at the hotel for €18.00 per night and is subject to availability. You can drive directly to the garage and through an intercom we can open the door for you. Extra practical: you can drive in and out the garage without limitation.

As an alternative we have exit tickets available for the public Damsterdiep garage for €19.50 per 24 hours.

Public transit

From Groningen Central Station, it is about a 10-minute walk to the hotel. Would you rather come by bus? The Zuiderdiep stop is less than 200 metres from the hotel.

Car

From the direction of Zwolle/Assen (A28) & Amsterdam (A7), follow the signs towards Groningen - Centrum | UMCG. At the end of Europaweg, turn left onto Damsterdiep. The hotel is located on the other side of the canal.
